Last Saturday we set up a little booth at Smorgasburg to pass out free seeds and information about design.plot. Our lead farmer Heather was in town from CT and spent the day chatting with us! Thanks to everyone who came by! Look for us at the Williamsburg farmers market this Saturday. Stop by and say hello!

My work is loving the world.
Here the sunflowers, there the hummingbird—
equal seekers of sweetness.
Here the quickening yeast there the blue plums.
Here the clam deep in the speckled sand.

Are my boots old? Is my coat torn?
Am I no longer young, and still not half-perfect? Let me
keep my mind on what matters,
which is my work,
which is mostly standing still and learning to be
astonished.
The phoebe, the delphinium.
The sheep in the pasture, and the pasture.
Which is mostly rejoicing, since all the ingredients are here,

We visited the eagle street rooftop farm in Greenpoint this past Sunday. It was our first visit and it was AMAZING! We ended up staying for the beekeeping workshop which was pretty inspiring. It sort of got our wheels turning... think we may become beekeepers in the near future!

Definitely go check the farm out if you get a chance. They have open days and workshops most Sundays!

Our friend Cecilia is starting an amazing jewelry line that we are completely in love with! She has set up a kickstarter project to help cover the expense of the equipment necessary to produce the collection and we all need to help make it happen!
