As you may know from previous posts, we have developed a great relationship with the band Langhorne Slim and the Law. We were thrilled when they recently asked us to design a backdrop for them to use on stage while on tour. We decided to reuse the parachute we used in their music video "The Way We Move," but this time we made it look completely different. If there's one thing that gives us a thrill, it's reusing materials in new, creative ways. We spent an afternoon dyeing the parachute, and we love how it came out! Our backdrop made its debut at Langhorne's show at Bowery Ballroom on June 14. It looked amazing on stage, and it was incredible how the lighting designers changed the way it looked to set the tone for each song. If you haven't seen Langhorne Slim and the Law live, you'll have to catch them (and our backdrop!) on tour this summer!

We had the best time filming a music video for Langhorne Slim in our studio! We created an old-time boxing ring, complete with trees as the poles, a ring made from wood pallets, and a parachute as the backdrop! The space was completely transformed. We've been fans of Langhorne for a long time, and we were thrilled to have the chance to do this video with them. Their new album is out on June 5th- we got an early copy of it and we've been playing it nonstop at the studio!
